I've already paid for application and membership - what else will
this cost me?
Current quarterly chapter dues are $45. $10 late fees will be accrued
on late payments. These are in addition to the annual BNI membership
fee and one-time application fee.
And the reasons for the $1 payments?
You owe $1 if...you are not wearing your name badge.
You owe $1 if...you take much more than the allocated 45 seconds
for your commercial. If the bell dings, wrap it up and sit down!
You owe $1 if...you take a good bit more than the allocated 20 seconds
for your referral comments.
Hey - what's up with the gorilla?
The gorilla is named Successful Sal. The current keeper awards him
to the member with the best weekly 45 second commercial. Sal travels
with his musical sidekick Amanda in a well outfitted backpack. Winning
Sal means you're doing a great job communicating your message...and
that you'll be responsible both for presenting a networking tip and
awarding Sal the next week!
